The True Taste
Of South Of Italy

Our journey began on the bustling docks of South of Italy, where our team rubbed shoulders with local fisherman to find the best, sustainably-sourced seafood they could. From there, they travelled across the south, exploring farms, tasting deliciously authentic culinary creations and of course, sipping a lot of wine.
Everything they experienced, is what you will.
A Cult Of Craftsmanship
We bring South of Italy with more than cuisine. As the fragrance of lemon and olive trees fill the air, stunning views of the sea are complemented by lovingly crafted pieces from Italy’s most skilled artists and craftspeople.
Our highly-curated range of accessories, lifestyle and homeware, many of them Alici-exclusives, have been borne from collaborations with the likes of Lucio Liguori, Riccio Caprese, Manebi and Panizza 1879.
The ‘Anchovy Man’ Ceramics
We found ceramicist Lucio Liguori sitting at his wheel, high above the Amalfi Coast, throwing object after object, plate after plate of gorgeous pieces made from glistening Salerno clay. Today, Liguori’s playful ceramic anchovies, custom vases and plates adorn Alici.
Gio Ponti Tiles
The famed Italian architect, designer and essayist Gio Ponti said, ‘The most resistant element in building is art. Let’s make something very beautiful’. Alici is proud to present a selection of the great man’s famous tiles, including his prestigious official seal for Ceramica Francesco De Maio.
Art Meets Nature with Riccio Caprese
Designs are in the detail with this Neapolitan firm founded in 1867 and renowned for intricate craftsmanship as well as vibrant, coast-fresh colours. We were delighted to collaborate with Riccio Caprese on a unique project to create a handmade ceramic olive oil bottle. This beautiful set is made in South of Italy and available at Alici.
Regal Paolo Sandulli Masterpieces
Ensconced in a medieval watchtower above the waves, Campanian Paolo Sandulli creates delicate terracotta busts of female courtiers from times gone by…and accentuated by flourishes of natural sea sponge.
The Amalfi Coast Comes Alive
Pride of place in our main dining room is a mesmerising, hyper-realistic painting of the Amalfi Coast created using renders as well as the keen eye and impressive skill of Steffen Jünemann.
